Editorial Design, Publication Design, Environmental Design

At College Board, a not-for-profit education organization, I was always eager to jump into new projects; when my supervisor asked if I could work on this, I was happy to contribute. I took the information give and previous work I’ve done to make informed decisions. I visually designed several different flyers, one-pagers, posters, environmental designs and updating and redesigning the brand guidelines and illustration guidelines, respectively, while maintaining every aspect of the brand consistent while keeping everything ADA compliant. I was also in charge of outputting all deliverables into different channels (digital, web, and large print). When required, I would design infographics, gifs, and original illustrations for specific needs. Below are several examples of different standalone projects.

Illustration Guidelines
One of my most significant contributions during my time at the College Board was my illustration work. I created several illustrations for various platforms, but I also ensured that they were readily accessible and organized in Widen, the DAM we used. I took it upon myself to have a defined library of illustrations used by the team. However, as the number of illustrations started to increase, I thought it would be necessary to redesign the previous illustrations guidelines and included tips and tricks for the team to ensure they kept illustration work consistent. The guide helped with very technical things, such as the correct point size for different output sizes, be it conference banners, posters, brochures, etc.
Flyers/One-pagers
There was always a need for a quick flyer or more elaborate one-pager. Be it to promote a new program or updates for parents and educators, or any internal documentation to be passed around the organization.
